Limitless skiing & snowboarding
Get out of your boots and into your ski boots! The ski bus stop is in the immediate vicinity, so get on and get off directly at the Planai gondola station! The Schladming-Dachstein ski area is characterised by ultra-modern lifts and the best prepared slopes. From the Planai you can reach the 3 other mountains, Hauser Kaibling, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. There is something for every level of difficulty. Fun and cross parks provide even more fun and action!
Cross country fun
Cross-country skiing is becoming more and more popular. Children also test their sense of balance and train their fitness. In Ramsau, which is only a 10-minute drive from Blashof, there are many opportunities to learn, as well as equipment rental. Schools give newcomers a good introduction to the sport. You can quickly find out which style you prefer, classic or skating. There is a huge choice of routes and laps for both techniques. You can get your cross-country skiing ticket from a vending machine at the car parks or from the tourist office.
Ski touring & winter hiking
Get out of the speed and into the idyll of winter hiking. Many have already discovered the fascination. Here, less is more! For many, exploring the snow-covered nature in winter is even more beautiful on foot than on skis. The region has a wide range of tours through the untouched snowy landscape. Or you can cherry-pick and go skiing with the tours and then treat yourself to your well-deserved downhill run. Everything is possible.
Tobogganing by day & night
The Hochwurzen has a toboggan run that provides entertainment for the whole family. Tobogganing is the perfect programme for many a ski-free diversion. A bus runs from Schladming to the Hochwurzen, from where the gondola to the toboggan run starts directly. On some days of the week the track is also illuminated at night. This is a wonderful way to round off a day's holiday. Rentals are available at the sports shop, Ski-Lenz or at the Tauernalm, both directly at the Hochwurzen valley station.
